Hippie the dog Hippie is my name. People have seen me wandering down the streets for weeks. On Monday the 4th of July ?For The Love Of Strays? saw a post of me on Craigslist and they came out to catch me. Everyone was ready to chase me for hours. While they were regrouping some group member saw me laying in a front yard, so they jumped out of the car. I was so surprised that someone was interested in me that I walked up to the person. The first thing I did was kiss the people around me to show them that I?m a good girl. So after weeks on the streets, being a breeder for years, and being a bait dog I had my first night in a safe home. It was awesome!!!! The next day they brought me to the vet. Now for the bad news. I have a broken pelvis, my hips are dislocated, and I have a bad skin infection. I am also heartworm positive. Still, no one gives up on me. For now my foster family tries to help me gain some weight....
